Talk:Linux Brochure

From GLUG-BOM

first two sections need some rewriting in the light of the discussions on the mailing list. Am proceeding to do this. Lawgon 11:06, 30 December 2006 (IST)

Why is the sparc systems mail-id an image? Changing it to text will help align it properly. Right now it is a bit off. --Mohan S N, 28/01/2007 6:08 pm

Need to add Matlab and a free equivalent. Will scilab do? --Mohansn 08:45, 7 June 2007 (EDT)

The link to D-Link website ( http://www.dlink.co.in/dlink/Products/broadband/GLB-502T.htm ) under the section "Common problems installing Linux" appears to be dead. I think D-Link has updated their site and the page has been moved to ( http://www.dlink.co.in/products/Product_temp.aspx?id=7,165 ). However, I don't find any mention of "Linux" on that page and so I'm removing the link.

With respect to cell phones running Linux, the A780 is a pretty old model and also the article being linked ( http://linuxdevices.com/news/NS3567256959.html ) is very old (Jul. 30, 2004). I'm changing the link to http://developer.motorola.com/technologies/linuxos/ which gives information about all Motorola mobiles running Linux.
